Bold Music Gets Bolder

After graduating from Davidson College, George Ramsay moved to Charlotte and emersed himself in his passion — music. He found the Charlotte music community to be inviting, inclusive and powerfully talented. That led George and his friend Dean Williams to a new mission: reinvent music education in the Charlotte area. That’s Bold Music was born.
But, COVID-19 caused Bold Music to get bolder, moving online instruction and even group performance online. These last few months have opened up new doors, too, allowing Bold Music’s already diverse group of instructors to engage talent and new students well outside the Queen City. On this batch of The Biscuit Blitz, Tim Miner chats with George about all of the above and about one of their next projects, bringing music to children in the hospital with the help of Ryan Seacrest Studios.
