Interesting Events – Pajama Walk, PLA-STIK\ and Doc Postle
- /
Charlotte is blessed with incredible events every day. You can’t make them all, you know, unless you have unlimited funds and can bend the space/time continuum. And, if you can … there are probably better applications for that. Here are a few of our faves this week.
Pajama Walk
Sunday, Nov. 10 – 1 to 3PM
Freedom Park
Here’s the best offer you’ll get all week … you can stay in your PJs as long as you like on Sunday, especially if you register for the Pajama Walk and take a stroll for good around Freedom Park with hundreds of Charlotteans while enjoying a carnival, live entertainment, Kosher food trucks and more. All funds raised will go directly to support social opportunities for Children & Teens with special needs at Friendship Circle and the training & employment program for specially talented young adults at ZABS Place in Matthews. PLA-STIK\ A Pop up Perspective Art Show
Wednesday, Nov. 6 – 7 to 9PM
Summerbird Boutique
Charlotte creativity on display … and for sale! This one-night-only event on the edge of NoDa features eclectic new works by artists Eva Crawford, Brandon Willette, Amy Cruz, Amber Ellis, Tracy Sanchez, Kellee Stall and fashion designer Will White. Complimentary wine will be served (while it lasts) and the evening will feature a brief panel discussion with the artists at 8PM. Read more about this event.
