Black Friday Podcast … with Katie Black

  3. Black Friday Podcast ... with Katie Black

A few weeks ago, local podcaster, Katie Black interviewed Biscuit publishers, Matt Olin and Tim Miner, on “The Katie Black Show.”  (That interview drops on Dec. 4.) To repay the favor, Matt and Tim asked Katie to join them for a live taping of The Biscuit Podcast at Coco & The Director organized by the Queen City Podcast Network.

Katie is a Charlotte native who enjoys exploring the Queen City experience through the eyes and opinions of long-time residents and people who have just moved here. She, Matt and Tim had a lively chat about local history, her favorite places in town, what both excites and frustrates her about life in Charlotte and whether or not residents who have lived here for more than 1/2 their lives, but were not born here should be called “narwhals.”

Also, give us a call on our super-secret Biscuit Hotline (only you and I know about it)! Call 704-835-0193, leave us a message and may use your audio in a future edition of The Biscuit CLT Podcast!

[PLEASE NOTE: In this podcast, Tim attempts to tell Matt the location of the former East Blvd. Bar & Grill. He sounds confident when he says it was at the corner of Scott Avenue and East Boulevard … but he was dead wrong.]
