Experience bringing together local musicians and aspiring players to create a burst of creative energy, musical community and pure, vibe-filled fun across the city.

Whether you’re a first-time guitarist, a seasoned drummer, a shower singer or a violinist who hasn’t played in years, OneBand is a space where anyone can step onstage and rediscover the joy of making music with others.

How OneBand Works

A community flash band experience in Charlotte.

The idea is simple. We share a short setlist of well-known songs. Anyone who wants to play them signs up. And we mean anyone:

  • Amateur musicians and seasoned pros
  • First-timers and long-timers
  • Guitarists, drummers, singers, violinists and keyboard players
  • Any instrument and every skill level

If you want to learn the songs and play them with others onstage, you qualify.

OneBand forms for ONE joyful rehearsal hosted by Jambox, a Charlotte event space, and ONE rockin’ community concert hosted by Divine Barrel Brewing. After that, the band breaks up and we begin again with a brand new group of Charlotte creatives.

Each cycle sparks musical curiosity, strengthens community connections and shows how local music experiences can make Charlotte a more creative place, one song at a time.
