COVID-19 has forced us all onto the Web for education, business and entertainment. No problem if you have high-speed internet, but you’re still running to catch up. But, if you are in the grasp of the digital divide, without access to reliable broadband, operational equipment and technical knowledge, you’re even further behind. Andrew Au, director of operations for Digital Charlotte and the Knight School of Communications at Queens has been laboring to close the digital divide for years.
He’s even more concerned about it now.
