Creative Challenge: Teacher Appreciation
- /
Help us thank the teachers.
Adjusting to working from home has been a challenge for everyone. It’s hard enough to be responsible for ourselves and our work within the confines of our home… imagine being responsible for 30-100+ others and their work.
Every day teachers across Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools are making the best of a bad situation. They’re trying to keep life as normal as possible for their students, especially now that virtual schooling is extended through the remainder of the academic year.
For this week’s challenge, we want you to create a graphic thanking the teachers who are putting in the extra time, love, and effort to ensure our kids are still receiving a quality education even in the current situation. We’re looking for a graphic that is striking, fun, and easily shareable of social media.
We don’t need you to build your work completely. We just need a sketch of what you’re planning to evaluate and links to previous work. From there, we’ll pick and idea we’d like to see completely fleshed out.
How to Be Considered
Your sketched out ideas and links to existing work must be sent to thebiscuit@charlotteiscreative.com by 11pm this Sunday, May 3. The winner and runners-up will be notified by Wednesday, May 6 via email. would like us to use to properly credit you. Everyone who participates will keep the rights to their art.
This QC Creative Challenge is supported by Charlotte Center City Partners and Charlotte SHOUT.
