Park Terrace Sign Restored
We recently reported that the Park Terrace sign had been removed for restoration. We’re excited to say that it’s back up at the AMC theater in Park Road Shopping Center and restored to its former glory.
Small Idea Leads to Big Change
Earlier this year, The Biscuit featured a story about 13-year old Aaron Anderson and his business, Anderberry Bracelets. We’re excited to say the word is spreading about this young HUG Micro-grant winner. Our media partner, WBTV, ran a feature on Aaron and his mother, Amy, last Thursday. Watch Aaron’s story on QC Morning and QC@3.
Master Your Murals
Talking Walls is almost here. A team of 14 artists will shake up more than just spray paint cans when they unleash a wave of new murals to Charlotte Oct. 16 -19. They’re adding to a proud history of mural artists in Crown Town. You can learn all about it with this printable 17″ x 11″ poster chronicling the history of the mural arts in Charlotte from the 1880s to today. The poster was researched and designed by Queens University professor and Talking Walls co-founder, Mike Wirth.
