HAPPY NEW YEAR!You’ll hear us say this all year long: In 2025, we want you to MAKE CREATIVE FRIENDS. Everywhere you go and in everything you do, make creative friends and colleagues. Invite friends to join you on the journey. Invite people you meet into conversation. Find companions to travel with you through the year. And, to help you get started, here are ten of our favorite creative friends who challenge, encourage and inspire us. If you know them, take more steps with them in the year ahead. If you don’t follow them, reach out and collaborate! We’re proud to know each and every one of them. 2024 Bolts of Inspiration At monthly meetings of Charlotte’s chapter of CreativeMornings, Charlotte Is Creative honors a creative individual (or three) whose example electrifies us and the creative community. Last year, with support from The Savage Way and UNC Charlotte, each of the amazing Charlotteans below was presented with a Bolt of Inspiration, a green lightning bolt designed by The Savage Way and covered in moss art, a process the company designed here in Charlotte. To help you get to know them better, The Biscuit staff asked each of them what they’re excited about in the year ahead … and here’s what they said.
