HERE’S WHAT YOU MISSED AT SHOUT! … SO DON’T MISS ANYTHING ELSE
HERE’S WHAT YOU MISSED AT SHOUT! … SO DON’T MISS ANYTHING ELSELast Wednesday, April 9, was a vibe on South Tryon Street. (Look at the photo above. That’s an understatement.) More than 3,300 people came out to celebrate Charlotte SHOUT! at the latest FOMO: Museum Block Party, spread across three Uptown museums—The Mint Museum, The Bechtler Museum of Modern Art and The Harvey B. Gantt Center for African American Arts + Culture. There was singing, dancing, toasting and, of course, an incredible amount of art appreciation. Thanks to Bank of America, each of those museums is free after 5 p.m. every Wednesday night. In partnership with Charlotte Center City Partners, Sonorous Wave and BLKMRKTCLT, we at Charlotte Is Creative wanted to honor the spirit of that investment in Charlotte’s cultural life and make this FOMO the biggest Wednesday Night Live ever. And… we did. If you weren’t there, we missed you. But you have so many chances to experience SHOUT! before it ends on Sunday afternoon. NO MO’ FOMOFOMO (Fear of Missing Out) is real. Especially over the last few weeks. Since SHOUT! Launched on April 4,we’ve been sharing the must-sees and can’t-misses of the festival to help you avoid SHOUT!-related FOMO. But now it’s crunch time. This is the final weekend of SHOUT! 2025. If you don’t act now, FOMO is coming for you. We’re here to remind you of what this year has brought, what you may have missed and why you can’t miss another moment. WHAT YOU MAY HAVE MISSED… AND WHAT YOU CAN’T

HUNT FOR EASTER EGGS!Under cover of darkness (we assume), the Easter Bunny has dropped 13 creative gifts upon The Green on S. Tryon Street to see, explore … but not to crack open. It’s the annual return of Easter Eggs on Parade at Charlotte SHOUT! A batch of 13 local creatives were hired to create their own masterpiece on top of an egg used last year and the two years before that. If you’re looking to get out of the house with friends, family and neighbors this weekend, head to The Green (there’s parking underneath, easy access to three museums and the Queen’s Greens putt-putt course across the street) and explore these giant “art-fied” eggs at Charlotte SHOUT!
