YOU DON’T SAY … The Panthers Move to Mobile Ticketing According to The Charlotte Observer, the Carolina Panthers will move to full mobile ticketing as of this Friday’s home preseason opener against the Buffalo Bills — which means ticketholders will need to use the official team app or a web browser to pull up a bar code that changes every 15 seconds. Some fans have expressed concerns about how much personal information the Panthers will obtain from the new process, not to mention potentially alienating a demographic of fans who aren’t as smartphone-savvy. Last Friday, we featured a self-portrait of Charlotte artist, Dustin Harbin. So, we visit Spider-Man & Doc Ock engaged in an epic battle inside Heroes Aren’t Hard to Find, where Dustin used to work. Charlotte’s friendly neighborhood comic shop was first opened in 1980 by 26-year-old Shelton Drum and founded HeroesCon in 1982, one of the longest-running and most respected comic book conventions in the country.
