  3. Four Council Members Rap about CLT … and Tariq Raps for Real

On Friday, February 1, 2019, more than 600 Charlotteans gathered together at 8:15am to hear Charlotte City Council Members Ajmera, Bokhari, Egleston and Winston participate in a “round robin” talk at CreativeMornings/Charlotte. They spoke on the theme of “Symmetry” and how their similarities and differences make for a uniquely diverse and passionate City Council.

Check out the video below — especially if you want to see District 6 representative Tariq Bokhari drop an impromptu rap for the audience!

But wait, did you see the stunt that Matt and Tim pulled to raise awareness of that this medley of Municipal Millennials would be appearing at CM/CLT? Yup, Matt and Tim stoof up in front of the Charlotte City Council and demanded answers. Did Captain James Jack lose the Meck Deck because he was riding a T. Rex? What WAS Ty Boyd Fever? What IS the Greenway Gremlin? See the madness here:

The truth is out there … and in The Biscuit.

Like what we write?

Do you think you have what it takes to write for the Biscuit?

Well, let us know!!
