National Pickle Day – Which CLT Fried Pickle Reigns Supreme?
- /
November 14 is National Pickle Day and since holidays (yes, that includes random national food days) are a chance to indulge a little, we decided to celebrate with our favorite form of pickle … the fried pickle!
We take food very seriously at The Biscuit wanted to be extra prepared for our fried pickle feast, so we turned to social media on Tuesday to ask, “Who has the best fried pickles in CLT?”
As a result, we learned two things: 1) people are passionate about where they get their fried pickles and 2) Charlotte has a TON of restaurants that are absolutely crushing the fried pickle game. We’re kind of shocked that #OGCLT pub, Alexander Michaels in Fourth Ward didn’t get any votes, but check out some of the responses we received. The next time you’re jonesing for a CLT fried pickle, you know exactly where to go.
Our favorite recommendations are below. Runners-up were: Rosemont Bar, Big View, Bad Daddy’s, Queen City Q, Cowfish and Pop’s Pickle Stand (a self-vote … we LIKE the moxie.)
Biscuit Readers Pick The Pickle

Pinky’s is pretty delicious but we still have dreams about those #OGclt fried pickles from The Penguin.

Fried pickle’s should be a brunch requirement everywhere, especially at Tupelo Honey.

The Diamond has been serving Charlotteans for the past 74 years and we hope they’ll be around for another 74 because we can’t get enough of those fried pickles!

You can’t go wrong with with a Dilworth classic. Hey Comet Grill, can we get some extra chipotle ranch?

If you identify as a pickle activist then you probably know what you’re talking about when it comes to fried pickles. Listen to this fella and get your pickle fix at Dandelion Market!
