The Biscuit Podcast: Around the Crown 10K & Porter Metzler

This week, Andy Goh talks to two creatives whose grand idea is about to change the running culture forever — Brian & Chelsea Mister, the founders of the Around the Crown 10K.

On Sunday, September first, Around the Crown will shut down the inner loop of the I-277 interstate to run the most ambitious road race in this city’s history. In the first segment of today’s podcast, Andy chats with Brian and Chelsea about what moment lead to the idea of running a race on 277, the logistical and safety hurdles they had to clear, and whether or not they would have done the race at all if it couldn’t be on 277. Plus, they talk about their sustainability efforts around the race.

Stick around through the end of the show as we have an inspiring “Mogul Moment” from Nikki Eason, and we wrap the show with head Biscuit-maker Matt Olin interviewing Charlotte Is Creative social media guy, #CLTAvenger and unicorn (yes, he was BORN in Charlotte), Porter Metzler.

Let’s take a listen!
