The Biscuit Podcast – July 24, 2019

This week on The Biscuit Podcast, co-producer and host Andy Goh serves up two servings of creative goodness. First up, a chat with Digi-Bridge founder David Jessup, Jr., on the heels of his recent announcement that he’ll be stepping down to return to school. Then, Andy raps with the newly-crowned champion of the inaugural CLT DJ Battle, Ariel Dominquez (AKA, DJ DOMii).

“I’d heard about DOMii’s talent way before I met her and when we finally met, there was a humble underdog spirit about her so I knew she was going to be dangerous on the tables at the CLT DJ Battle,” producer Dae Lee explains. “When it came to the battle, DOMii came out the gate strong, doing what she obviously does best which is entertain and rock the crowd! Her blending of diverse grooves from World Music, Hip-Hop to Reggae was seamless which kept building the excitement of the audience, ultimately making her the CLT DJ Battle’s 2019 Champion.”

When you’re done listening to the podcast, wash it all down with some shots from the CLT DJ Battle in today’s edition of “Viewfinder,” courtesy of photographer Dave Butler.
