The Sights! Rebecca Henderson at CreativeMornings/Charlotte
- /
The Charlotte community is brimming with creativity at every corner. But, it’s impossible to experience it all. When you can’t be there in person, the fun and excitement are often lost in the telling.
Here at The Biscuit, we’re not into describing events you may have missed, but we love looking at them through the lenses of Charlotte’s incredibly talented videographers and photographers. In this case, it’s Charlotte Star Room and Heather Liebler who shot June’s CreativeMornings event at Discovery Place where Rebecca Henderson spoke on the topic of “Wonder.”

Attend the Next CreativeMornings/Charlotte
The next meeting of CreativeMornings/Charlotte will be 8:30 to 10am Friday, July 12 at Biddle Hall on the campus of Johnson C. Smith University. (Normally, meetings are the first Friday of every month, but this gathering has been moved to accommodate July 4.)
CreativeMornings/Charlotte events feature live performances from Charlotte musicians, food from the Community Culinary School of Charlotte, coffee from Pure Intentions, a segment of the Queen City Quiz Show and more. In July, the keynote speaker will be former Charlotte news anchor and current executive director of the CMS Public Schools Foundation, Sonja Gantt, talking about her decision to move from journalism into supporting public education full time.
Tickets to this event are free and will be available at 9am on Monday, July 8 on the CreativeMornings/Charlotte Web site.
