Queen Charlotte on College Street
- /
WHERE ARE WE IN CLT? The Queen Charlotte statue at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport may be more famous, but our dear queen deserves more than just one statue … especially one with her beloved dogs. Watching over 200 North College Street just a stone’s throw from Mert’s Heart & Soul, Queen Charlotte’s Uptown statue is joined by canine companion, Presto (pictured here). She may not be as dramatic as the one at the airport, but it’s waaaaaaaay easier to take a selfie with this lady. This bronze sculpture was created by artist, Bailey Graham Weathers, Jr.
