OrthoCarolina, has rolled out an online system designed to help you make an appointment in minutes. Five minutes, to be exact.
That got us — and the OrthoCarolina team — wondering. What could you create in five minutes?
If you’re Charlotte musical duo extraordinaire, Noel Freidline and Maria Howell, it turns out you can make something pretty amazing.
Many creatives do their best work when they’re under pressure, under the gun, the clock running down. It’s a life fueled by deadlines and come-from-behinds. Here’s our chance to put that to the test in a new series of video shorts we call “Equal Time.”
Freidline and Howell have made a name for themselves with their Rat Pack-reminiscent rapport and inspired reinterpretations of beloved tunes. So when we asked them to hit us with their take on Ortho’s “My Care, My Way” motto, the jazzy crooning and piano prestidigitation started to flow.
Watch what these two improvised with their five minutes …
Catching up with Freidline and Howell After The Video
If that’s what they could knock out in just five minutes, imagine what they can do with more time on their hands. Here’s what Freidline says they have in store for the months ahead:
“In 2020, we were able to develop and debut a new show, a jazz celebration of the music of Karen Carpenter, Carole King and Carly Simon. We are hoping to get in the studio and record this new repertoire, along with the music from a Stevie Wonder show we debuted in 2019. Basically, we’ll record two albums at once.”
We’ll share more about their new work on @CLTisCreative as it’s available.
In the meantime, take OrthoCarolina’s new online appointment system for a spin.
