HUGS & Bolts – January

The design team at #thesavageway, created this giant Bolt of Inspiration for use at CreativeMornings/Charlotte as a gift from Charlotte Is Creative sponsor, OrthoCarolina.

At each meeting of CreativeMornings/Charlotte, specials are presented by a moss art “Bolt of Inspiration” by Torrie Savage of #thesavageway for their outstanding work Queen City creative community.

Local photographer and CREATOR of Charlotte’s Yard Art Day, Deborah Triplett. was honored for being “living embodiment of putting creative energy into action in our city.” You can watch a documentary by Charlotte Star Room about Deborah’s latest project and her fight against lunch cancer here.

HUG Micro-Grant Recipients (HUGgees)

Other creatives are presented with $250 HUG Micro-Grants (“little love bombs of cash”) to nudge forward their for-profit or nonprofit endeavors. The January HUGgees were:
