SHOUTING Match! Krystle Baller & Wanda Petunia Rock Out

To help keep up Charlotte’s spirits during the COVID-19 and prepare for annual Charlotte SHOUT! events this fall, we’ve asked Queen City creatives to team up for SHOUTing Matches — short, shareable creative mash-ups.

What do you get when you cross a self-care pig named Wanda Petunia and a Lady Rockstar?  You get one fantastically awesome video about how Wanda Petunia, the inspiring pig is dealing with quarantine and the ups and downs on how she gets through it.  The social distancing song, “Miss You Pig Time” is the brain-child of Amy Jane Williams and Krystal Baller

Amy is the creator of Wanda Petunia and Krystle is a rock-star in her own right being the founder of Pachyderm Music. Krystle created the video and sang the song.

How did it come together?

When asked how these two powerful women collaborated, Amy said, “Wanda Petunia loves sharing how to be real AND inspire others to feel better. Thank you for sharing this message during a continually challenging time for so many.  And, thank you for supporting how we can each share our creative gifts with others to bring humor and hope to the world!”

The video takes us through the oh-so-many days of stay-at-home and we see how Wanda spends her time.  She finally cooks a meal at home, plays her ukulele and learns new songs, gets in on a little Tik Tok and even watches Tiger King!  Wanda Petunia is all of us right now and this quirky and marvelous creation is everything we need.

Krystle states, “This isn’t something that I typically do, but I had a lot of fun doing it and look forward to creating more things like this in the future.  It’s a hard time for the music industry and we are going to have to continue to be creative in the ways we share our music to garner support from the community.  I hope this inspires others to think outside the box.”

Here at Charlotte is Creative, we are very sure that you have inspired others to think outside the box and you have also put a very big smile on our face….which we swear is there behind the mask!
